This Service is for Business School graduating students who:

• Are taking an MBA or specialist MSc course as part of a career transition
• Have had a prior career/work experience for more than 4 years and
• Want to explore how their previous work experience and talents can be integrated with their Business School studies and carried through to their next employment.
• Are prepared to engage in a thoughtful process.

About The Service
This specialist inter-disciplinary ‘one to one’ Career Service is designed to address the specific requirements of Business School graduating students and is tailored to each student’s individual needs. This means that while we look at the personal, ‘under the surface’ aspects of their career journey, we keep a firm footing on the practical application to the real market place. Each student who takes up the service receives the benefit of the combined expertise of consultants with psychology as their background discipline and consultants with specific expertise in: 

• Investment Management
• Investment, Corporate and Private Banking
• OD consulting
• Law practices
• Accountancy
• IT and Operations Management
• Marketing and communications
• Media
• Human resources
• Start Ups

The programme which spans over four sessions is unique because  it:

• Adopts an interdisciplinary approach to integrate psychological insights with business expertise.
• Bridges the students’ past career choices to their next employment and  long term direction.
• Builds on the information they have acquired from the other careers services available to them at their Business School.
• Expects them to be pro-active between sessions.

Workshops and Lectures

Careers In Depth offer a wide range of lectures and workshops specifically designed to educate and enlighten business school students on various career paths and on the ‘softer’ skills associated with career seeking and development.

All of our workshops and lectures are given by senior specialists in their field.
